Trumpeter Joe Magnarelli, affectionately known as “Mags” by his friends andfans, is one of the most beloved musicians in New York City’s diverse jazz world.He cut his teeth in the 1980s playing with Brother Jack McDuff, Harry Connick Jr, Jon Hendricks, The Carnegie Hall Jazz Orchestra and many others. Now a veteran, he is considered by many to be the quintessential New York Jazz musician.
